Open Road HR are able to take on all your Recruitment and Selection Services for you or support your current processes at any stage of your Recruitment and Selection processes.  We offer expertise in all aspects of recruitment and selection including telephone based interviewing, the management of high volume recruitment campaigns and the selection of unique and specific skills.

Once we’re absolutely confident we understand your specific requirements we can help you by

  • Preparing a detailed job and person description
  • Drafting appropriate advertisements for your chosen advertising arenas
  • Pre-screening applicants against the agreed criteria
  • Interviewing those candidates we feel may be suitable and providing you with a report on each of them
  • Writing to unsuitable applicants with appropriate rejection letters
  • Supplying you with a briefing report of each ‘successful’ interview and arranging for you to meet with them.

We would carry out these responsibilities with the sole aim of being able to present you with a final shortlist of excellent candidates. The final choice is down to you - if we’ve done our job properly it could be a tough decision!

Open Road HR are also experienced interviewers and we can sit in on your interviews along side your recruiting managers (or conduct interview’s solely if required) and offer you a third party opinion on your potential new hire.   Whilst we appreciate that you know the best people for your company, we can offer additional support and advice to your interviewer’s ensuring that all bases are covered before employing a new member to your team.

Within our Recruitment and Selection services we are also able to offer Pre-Employment Screening and Reference Checking.  Employment screening is most effective when included as part of the recruitment policy. We recommend that you commence screening as soon as the offer of employment is made and that it is clearly stated that the offer is conditional on the successful completion of the screening process.  Whether you require standard 2 suitable references before employment can be confirmed or whether you want a full 5  years (or 10 years in some cases) of employment references, credit check references and CRB checks we can offer these services to you.

We work in association with an outstanding CRB screening company (don’t worry it does not increase the cost!) and can therefore accommodate all your regulatory requirements together with your own particular corporate governance.
